Description: Harold ROBBINS / Never Love a Stranger Signed/Inscribed 1st Edition (stated) 1948 Harold Robbins (May 21, 1916 – October 14, 1997) was an American author of popular novels. One of the best-selling writers of all time, he wrote over 25 best-sellers, selling over 750 million copies in 32 languages. his first novel, Never Love a Stranger, was made into a film in 1958. The book and dust jacket are in good condition with the following flaws:* The front board of the book has some water stains.* The bottom of the pages are beginning to fray (see photo of bottom page block). Very minor chipping but no tears or loose pages.)* The dust jacket has been price-clipped.* Harold Robbins only signed his first name (obviously to his friend, Harry Spiess). Comparison to other full signatures (see photo) reveals that it is certainly the author. An interesting letter is also included from another Harry Speiss in Austalia to a Las Vegas Review Journal editor, who is seeking to find the real Harry Speiss??
