Description: CONDITION: Small chip on scalloped edge, hardly noticeable. The plate displays well. Porcelain oyster of clam plate produced in France by Haviland & Co. Limoges between 1888 to 1896. It was produced and decorated at the factory. The plate measures 8 1/2 inches in diameter. It is molded with 5 shells and a center salt dip. The center of the plate has a large spray of colorful seaweed with tiny sea creatures lurking on the edges. There are gilded accents and the scalloped rim is gilded.
