Description: Heliopsis (Heliopsis helianthoides), also known as Oxe eye or false sunflower, is a tall growing plant to 36 inches that develops pretty sunflower looking yellow flowers. The flowers are approx. 2.5 to 3 inches accross. Nice cut flower. Quite hardy. Will spread if you do not remove spent flower heads. Cut back after flowering and it will sprout a lot of new branches and flower a second time. Perennial to zones 3-9. Press seed onto moist soil and keep moist and in light until germination which is approximately 14 days, or, you may plant outdoors in the fall and it will grow in the spring. Likes full sun. Will tolerate some shade. 50 seeds per pkg.
