Description: Genuine premium d. nigra jacaranda rosewood back and sides, Cedar top, Ebony fingerboard, 640mm scale, 50mm nut width. Action is a very playable 3.6/3 with no room to lower further. Frets are Evo Gold, more durable than nickel. Original pre-Waverly Sloane tuners with the stipple plates obtained from a retired luthier, much nicer than the Waverly version. A slight crack on the top part of the side occurred and was repaired during construction, it only grazed the surface and does not go through, difficult to photograph, see pic outlining the area. Darren's direct price is $4000 for this build with this wood. I would describe the trebles as thick and bell-like with the bass being warm and dark. Comes with a quality hardshell case.
