Description: HERE IS A 3 1/4" X 5 1/4" PHOTO, SIGNED BY "HOOT" EVERS. IT IS PAPER THIN AND SIGNED IN BLACK SHARPIE. IT IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION-THERE IS A PIECE OF CONSTRUCTION PAPER ATTACHED TO THE BACK OF IT. "HOOT" EVERS WAS AN OUTFIELDER FOR 12 YEARS IN THE MAJOR LEAGUES: WITH THE TIGERS IN 1941, FROM 1946-52, AND IN 1954; WITH THE RED SOX FROM 1952-54; WITH THE GIANTS IN 1954; WITH THE ORIOLES IN 1954, AND 1956; AND WITH THE INDIANS FROM 1955-56. EVERS WAS A 2-TIME ALL-STAR AND LED THE AMERICAN LEAGUE IN TRIPLES IN 1950(11). HE APPEARED IN 1,142 GAMES, COLLECTED 1,055 HITS, AND RETIRED WITH A CAREER BATTING AVERAGE OF .278.
