Description: Presented today is this beautiful Hopi Kachina doll, depicting Palhik'mana, the Butterfly Maiden Kachina, by the late Arthur Yowytewa of Bacavi. Carved around 2000, the figure is beautifully painted and in flawless condition. She stands 12 inches tall, and is carved with a simple, traditional dignity, and is shown standing with feathers in her hands. This is a very late example of Art's work (he passed away in 2006), and would look beautiful in your collection.
