Description: This item is a right-handed 40" persimmon fairway wood. It is a vintage MacGregor Tourney MO-6 6 wood from the 1950's. You don't see many of these. The head has been refinished and doesn't look like it has been hit since the restoration. Please look at the many zoom pictures to get a better idea of condition. The steel shaft is the original True Temper steel with the silver shaft label still present. I believe that indicates a stiff flex. The shaft is in very good condition and does not show the rust flecking you normally see on these 70-year-old shafts. The chrome is still bright and shiny. The grip is an old two-tone leather wrap. Don't believe it is original but is a nice in period replacement. Intact grip collar and butt cap. Shipping in the US is calculated and based on a 3-pound 48"x5"x5" box. This item shipped UPS Ground. For those of you that never ship but only receive items, the further you are from me in NC the more shipping will be. That is the way the carriers charge. On top of that, eBay and takes almost 15% of what I receive for shipping (out of $10 I receive $8.50) and I would like to break even. eBay collects sales tax for many states. They charge me 15% for that service and I never see that money.
