Description: Hudson Saddle Co Western Shotgun Chaps Hudson Saddle Co Western Shotgun Chaps These chaps are a piece of history. Made by long since closed Hudson Saddle Co of Fort Pierre, South Dakota, these are made to work. While Hudson's has been closed for decades, the Hudson family worked with Dave Dahl, world-renowned rodeo and bronc saddle maker, also of Fort Pierre when he was a young man. The owner of these thinks these are easily 50+ years old, and these are still ready to work. These chaps are a cross between full length chinks, shot gun chaps, and work chaps and are HEAVY DUTY. Made from a heavier ounce leather that is lighter in color with 5 leg snaps down the leg. No zipper. Reinforced in all the right places, heavy yoke, and offers great coverage and protection. Overlaps the leg snaps by about 6". Despite being nearing vintage, these are in really good condition. Leather is pliable and plenty soft, well maintained, showing typical use from a life of hard work. The lighter colored leather does show staining and rub marks, has a dime size hole on the left leg by the bottom leg strap. This set offers a ton of adjustment. Fits like men's large. Measurements: Out Seam-38”, Inseam-29” Waist-31”-46” with LOTS of room for additional adjustment depending on how let out the front string is.
