Description: Huge Antique Ojibwa Beaded Bandolier Bag ( 1890-1920s ) Fanciful tree leaves and poppies spring forth on this "magic branch motif' in the elegant colors of old greasy beads.The bag is heavily worn with failing dried thread seams so I pinned it to foam board which might be included cut down to manageable sizes. Thebeaded fringe is almost gone but a few examples remain to show us the original glory. The backing cloth is heavily browned with a century or more of age.It is quite large approx 47" top to bottom, 15" across the bag with 7" wide straps....impressive on your wall!
