Description: Imperial Jingdezhen Porcelain Plates "Beauties of The Red Mansion" Set of 11Nearly Complete & "The Marble Boat" Set of Imperial Jingdezhen Chinese collector plates from Bradford Exchange. Handmade in the People's Republic of China in the late 1980's, the plates represent an exquisite collection of artistic scenes from the ancient story of "A Dream of Red Mansions" of 18th Century Chinese literature. The majority of the plates have the original boxing and packaging with inserts. Some do not. A couple do not have their complete original decorative boxing, perhaps missing a lid. Every plate was cleaned and inspected to ensure there are no cracks, chips, or flaws. Each plate appears in pristine condition as produced. This is an almost complete set - it is only missing one plate (#5) from the series "Beauties of The Red Mansion": 1 - "Pao-Chai"2 - "Yuan-Chen"3 - "Hsi-Feng"4 - "Hsi-Chun" 5 - (missing) "Miao-Yu" 6 - "Ying-Chun"7 - "Tai-Yu"8 - "Li-Wan"9 - "Ko-ching" 10 - "Hsiang-Yun"11 - "Tan-Chun"12 - "Chaio-Chieh" Also included is the special edition plate titled "The Marble Boat" by Master Artisan Zhang Song Mao, the firstplate of the "China: Scenes From the Summer Palace" series.
