Description: You didn't think one even existed, but here it is! It's so simple and understated, but look at that detail. Yes, the front of the skirt is HAND BEADED!!! All beads are present/none are missing. The beads sparkle in the light and truly is stunning.. I can't believe this was made for children to play with. Wow.. the dress has been washed at least once by a former owner. The blue ribbon had bled onto the dress and the ribbon had faded to a light purple. I carefully remove the original ribbon and bow, washed the dress lightly, dyed the original ribbon and bow, and carefully sewed them back on. The blue ribbon is slightly uneven in coloring, but doesn't seem too drastic. It displays beautifully. Half of one snap had been ripped off. It had also taken a part of the original cotton lining. Amazingly, the satin under layer and the organza top layer were not damaged. I found a vintage replacement for the missing portion of the liner. I carefully filled in the missing area, and reattached the half of the snap. Comes with original white shoes. These are play things that are 60 years old. This outfit was only sold in Japan in the 1960s. It looks great for its age. Please check photos for condition. Doll is not included. I love to combine shipping.
