Description: Jeannette Pink Windsor Scarce Powder Jar Company Maker: The Jeannette Glass Company Pattern: Windsor Color: Pink Item: Powder Jar / Puff Box Circa: 1936-1946 Measurement: 2 1/2" H. - 4 1/4" W. Condition: Few Depression Glass (Adam to Windsor) patterns had an actual powder jar or perfume bottle to go with their patterns. Flower Garden with Butterflies, American Pioneer, and Floral Poinsettia are the only patterns that had a complete vanity set. Jeannette's Windsor pattern offered a puff box, or powder jar. This jar is fairly common in the marigold iridescent color, but is seldom found in pink. It is so seldomly found in pink that could be considered very close to, if not rare. This lovely pink powder box is in Undamaged Condition without chips, cracks, or mold damage. All of the sharp edges are perfect. The color is a nice medium pink. The inside of the puff box is nice and clean without residue or scratching. You will love adding this seldom found powder jar to your Windsor collection. It will be one of the highlights of a Windsor collection. Windsor (1936-1946) - (amberina, crystal, delphite, green ,ice blue, ruby)- Windsor was made by the Jeannette Glass Company.
