Description: This vintage promotional card signed by Joe Lynam. The card is signed on the back (verso), "My very and utmost respects to a good fellow, Dave Hitchpetter, From Joe Lynam, Redmond, Ore. and with a sidebar by the owner’s father, "Wrestler + lost very few matches." Joe was a pilot and lost his life in a plane crash when his Navy surplus NC62389 struck Horse Ridge 500 feet below the summit taking off in the rain and fog from Bend, Deschutes, Oregon, September, 1948 at the age of 31. Among his credits was his Junior Heavyweight Champion Belt (But we can find no date on this achievement.) He served at the time as the owner’s father in WWII. Will carefully ship USPS insured.
