John Lennon THE BEATLES 1960s UK Teen Magazine Insert Trading Card #2 circa 1967

Description: ABOUT THIS CARD: Vintage trading card believed to be hand-cut from an insert in a mid- to late-1960s era British teen magazine, this card features John Lennon of The Beatles. Card measures approximately 2-1/8" x 2-7/8" with some slight variance due to hand-cut nature of card. On a light card stock, unnumbered, with blank back as shown. This sale is for one of several such cards I have available featuring television stars and musicians from circa 1966-67. After asking around my best guess is that this card was hand-cut from an insert sheet found inside a UK-based teen magazine (ie: "16 Magazine" or similar) that came out around 1966-67. Early and unusual issue for this personality. GRADING - CONDITION: Hand-cut insert card, so see scan for edges. Otherwise VG or 4/10 with a diagonal surface crease by the top left corner on back; light wear at corner tips; clean back. Scans show both sides of actual card for sale.
