Description: PARADISE LOST AND PARADISE REGAINED [Cresset Press edition, 1930] by John Milton [PROSPECTUS ONLY] Single sheet (28 x 19.5 in.) folded twice to 14 x 9.75 in. Printed on four sides in red and black on Arnold Unbleached paper. This prospectus announces the forthcoming Cresset Press folio edition of John Milton's Paradise Lost and Paradise Regained. It includes a full-page wood engraving by D. Galanis plus a page of text with an initial designed by Anna Simons and a large headpiece. On the rear panel, the press apologizes to the Golden Cockerel Press for publishing this work at this time, near simultaneously with the latter's edition; plus production information on this Cresset Press edition. Condition: A very good, remarkably bright, fresh and very well-preserved copy. It has been folded a third time, presumably to allow for mailing; with a thin sliver of mild darkening on the side and top edges of the front side; faint offsetting shadow from the engraving onto facing page; and mild toning on the rear printed side (somewhat more so at the exterior fold).
