This is the Society of Medalists sixtieth issue medal. The medal has the image of a mountain lion in a tree on the obverse. The reverse shows the image of three geese flying with clouds in the background. The medal has a beautiful smooth golden bronze with a light tan patina. patinaed surface. The obverse has the name K. LANE/WEEMS in the lower right below the lion's tail and the characters (c) below it all. The obverse has the legend "GOD MADE THE BEAST" above and below the lion.
