Description: Up for sale is a map "Le Cours Du Po Dans Le Duche De Mantoue" Map of region in North Italy ca 1735 by J Covens that is one of a set that follow the course of the Po River. Antique hand coloring. Large map measuring approximately 22 x 25 inches including border area. Overall in good - condition. Fairly large but thin rip bottom center and a smaller horizontal tear in the center of the map that is thin and roughly 1/2 an inch. Very thin though and won't be noticeable when framed. Minor browning and some soiling particularly at edges. Old framing tap on back at edges. Other small dings here and there. A solid example of this important map and ready to be framed and hung.
