Description: LEGO Windmill set 550 from 1976 with original instructions and a Family Guide to the World of LEGO insert. Both the instructions and insert are in very good condition for their age although someone wrote inside the lines of the LEGO logo on the instructions (see the 2nd to last picture). Take a look at the pictures of both to get the best idea of their condition. The Windmill is INCOMPLETE. I'd estimate it is missing about 2-3 dozen pieces including the turntable piece for the bottom/middle of the windmill, 2 thin white windows, 2 yellow shutters and the connecting blue hinge for them, a few red slopes from the back of the roof of the windmill, the 4x8 red baseplate for the car, a black corner slope piece, and most of the yellow pieces that make up the blades of the windmill. Most of the pieces included are original but there may be a few substitutions. The baseplate is in pretty good condition but five of the studs are a little dinged up from use (see the last picture). One of the minifigures is missing his legs and I seem to have two red hats but no black hat. This is sold as is. Please let me know if you have any questions or need additional pictures.
