Description: For Sale. 1938 Lionel 700E Chassis, Frame, Motor, E-Unit, Drives, Side Rods, Valve Hanger and More. This is an original 1938 Lionel 700E frame with some modifications. The frame is original. This likely came from a 1938 700K. The oil holes are present. The frame has been modified by a skilled machinist and the original drivers have been replace with O Scale insulated drivers with scale flanges. Otherwise it is all original and has the original valve gear, valve gear hanger, original steam chest, motor and motor wiring harness, 10:1 Gear box, pilot truck, front coupler lift pin rails, etc. RUNS perfect. This is ready to use on a 700E or 763E locomotive. If you have a set of original 700E Drivers you can easily replace the scale ones with original. The machinist who did this work was very skilled and have several of his items and a sellng a few more including an original 700E frame modified to two drivers instead of 3.
