Description: I am selling a very large estate collection of vintage trains. Unless otherwise specified, nothing has been tested for operation. I simply don't have the time to go through and test and service all these trains. These are vintage items sold as restoration projects, parts, or display items for the knowledgeable adult hobbyist. Here is a nice looking Lionel Postwar 2020 Pennsylvania steam turbine 6-8-6 steam locomotive. Also included is a whistle coal tender. This is an earlier production model, I would guess from very late 1946 or very early 1947. Reason I say this is that it has the early motor and reverse unit with "plug in the rear or cab" where there is no reverse unit lever sticking out of top of body like later models. However, it has the later smoke unit, as opposed to the early 1946 "smoke bulb" unit. Kind of a transition piece. Also, has the nickeled tire drive wheels. Ran when i tested it. Like most vintage Lionel, reverse unit can be finicky at times. Has been in storage, should be cleaned and lubed before using much. Sold as shown in pictures. Pictures are the description. These are vintage display and collector's items sold as a project for the knowledgeable adult hobbyist. These are old and will often need tinkering and TLC.
