Description: Lionel Postwar Set #2273W originally offered in 1956. This set includes the original receipt from Madison Hardware where it was purchased 11/13/1956. The set box is quite large due to the set including the #342 culvert loader. It's also fairly hefty with almost 27lbs worth of components. I did the best I could with pictures, Ebay has a 24 picture limit. I have more pics of the Culvert Loader, and front and backs of the cars. I can send this through Ebay messenger if you send me a message. All trains have their original box and insert if they had one. 2273W Set Box:Complete, has some paper lose. There is wear at the edges & hinges, no surprise given the weight of its contents. 2378P/2378C-Matching A-B units without roofline stripe. Ex with signs of use, minor rubs, scratches, etc. Runs, lights. Horn didn't sound, but relay engaged. Clean battery compartment.2378C box has tear on one flap by tuck tab. Instruction sheet is very discolored. All cars are in Ex/Ex+ condition 3562- Yellow barrel car. Operates, includes barrels, bin, parts envelope, components, and instructions.Box:one end has tear at tuck tab. 3662- Operating Milk Car. Operates, includes platform, cannisters, envelope, instructions. Box: one end has tear on flap 3359-Twin Bin Dump Car. Operates, includes coal and bin. Box: one end has tear at tuck tab. Instruction sheet discolored 6517-Bay Window Caboose. Box: one inner flap taped on. 342 Culvert Loader with 6342 Gondola- This is in almost mint condition. Box has both inserts. Operates, includes culverts, parts envelope and components, instructions. Track:8 curved, 7 straight UCS Remote Track: Untested. Wire insulation is dried out and stiff. Billboard inserts: 6 still attached Receipt:I have a slip of paper covering the name of the purchaser. Catalogs/Booklet:1956 catalog in good cond. The Accessory catalog and Instruction manual are falling apart.
