Description: Lot of 16 early 19th century antique hand-forged iron pieces. Can be used as hooks or shelf brackets or braces for beams. These were originally used as brackets. The pointed end would be hammered into a beam leaving an "L Shaped" flat brace to hold something like a railing or shelf. You can drill holes in the flat side to screw in to a wood beam leaving the pointed end out for hooks / hanging / light fixtures. NOTE: These were individually hand-forged by a blacksmith. No 2 are exactly the same.
