On the back it is stamped with the Ludwig, Redlich & Co hallmark and sterling as well as with the retailer Greenleaf & Crosby, and the number 446. Ludwig designed for Shiebler, while Redlich was a diamond dealer, in partnership until 1895 when Ludwig sold his interest and the company became Redlich & Co.
