A very realistic depiction of a fly fisherman as he releases a large trout back into the water. The fisherman is standing on rocks with water flowing around his knees and an underwater view of stones and a log. The detailed figure has a real feather and string, and is set onto a black base- signed Marc Pierce across the top, with a brass plaque on the front that reads “Until We Meet Again”. The original protective plastic is still covering the brass plaque. The statue is composed of ‘Montana Bronze’; a proprietary blend of bronze, pewter and resins. The felted bottom is marked in gold with ‘Big Sky Carver’, ‘Marc Pierce Signature Collection’ “Until We Meet Again”. The piece is in good condition overall with some light damage to the fly rod, but has been repaired. The statue measures approximately 11” tall by 7 1/2” wide and 8” deep with a 6 1/2” diameter base, and weighs just over 5 pounds.
