Description: Please study the photos carefully as they form part of the description. An original Press Photo of Margaret Thatcher's visit to Abbey Road on 31 May 1990. Date stamped 02 June 1990 to the rear. This came from the archives of Express Newspapers based in the UK. Margaret Thatcher visited Abbey Road and the Abbey Road Studios on 31 May 1990.She was due to meet Kate Bush but security protocol meant this wasn't to be.During her visit to the studios Thatcher said "I loved the songs of the Beatles. They were sheer genius both in the way they performed and in some of the songs they wrote" (source: https://www.margaretthatcher.org/document/108104).Whilst at the studios she 'played' Ringo Starr's drums (I have listed the photo of this separately). Slight wear to corner tips, especially the bottom right corner. The photo measures approx. 11.75" x 8.25".No tears. Though I have a large collection of Margaret Thatcher press photos, this one and the separate listing of her playing Ringo's drums are the only ones I have of such. Postage: UK mainland and US mainland only thanks. Rest assured this will be well packed. It will be posted within a cardboard art mailer as a large letter. Photos of the item being packed will be sent to the purchaser. VAT / CUSTOMS TAXES Please note that any customs charges or VAT charges are always the buyers responsibility to pay. This has nothing to do with me and I do not benefit financially from it - it is all done by ebay and I have no control over how much they will charge you. Some countries have rules in place so VAT is paid to ebay and ebay then pay the VAT to your countries government.
