McKee Summit Emerald Green Slag Glass Rabbit Bunny on Nest Covered Bowl Dish

Description: Emerald green slag glass rabbit on a split rib base nest. It measures approximately 4 1/4 inches in height, 5 1/2 inches in length and is 4 1/4 inches wide. This is a vintage NOS (New Old Stock) piece. There is a small rim of extra glass at the mold seam on the bottom side of the lid. It has some spots of roughness, chips, or voids. I have tried to show that area in close-up pictures but they are small. It is from having a little too much glass in the mold and I see it on many of the Summit pieces. Other than that area on the bottom of the lid there are no other chips, cracks, or damage. This is marked with the McKee mark but it was made by the, now defunct, Summit Glass company. These were made in the mid to late 1990s. We know they are Summit and know when they were made because our supplier purchased all of Summit's inventory when they closed and these have been in storage since then.We have this piece in other colors without the McKee mark. We believe this mold was also used by Kemple at one time. The split rib base was also used by Westmoreland and is the same bowl as the one with our 5.5" hen on nest, the resting pony bowl, and the robin on nest.We honor our Lord Jesus Christ with our business and our lives.
