Description: Microsoft 1516 Surface RT Tablet 64GB w/ Backlit Type Cover 2 & Original AC Adapter ~ Nice! These were used for a short Grant program for graduate students and then not used at all. There are a couple number stickers present but ,They have always been under a touch screen protector and for old tablets they are in extremely good condition. They have been reset to factory defaults. (Password is set to 'owner'). The battery will take a charge, but the remaining battery life and capacity are unknown. They are from 2013 and Microsoft no longer supports RT tablets. You should research RT tablets to make sure this would be the right device for you . Because they are no longer supported, options are limited. What these do have going for them (beside their excellent condition) is the fact that Microsoft Office 2013 is built into the operating system ..,.. you can use this feature loaded version of Office without any subscription fees or additional costs. Office 2013 RT includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc .. they would make amazing standalone word processing/ office project machines
