Description: This is a very fun mid-century small-scale desk manufactured by Drexel Furniture, circa 1960s. The desk is a part of Drexel’s ‘Profile’ furniture line and was designed by John Van Koert. The original Drexel product label is still intact inside the drawer as is the 'Certificate of Inspection' from the manufacturer. The desk needs refinishing, as the paint has dried and started to flake, but is otherwise solid. The interior is in very good condition; and the tambour desktop is a tad sticky but quite functional. The exterior finish is a subtle avocado green with a white tambour cover. The knobs appear to be pewter. It was purchased from Garth Andrews Interiors, in Bath Ohio, in the '60's and has had only one owner. In fully restored condition, these desks are listed on 1st Dibs and Chairish between $1750 and $3200. 34.25ʺW × 27ʺD × 34.5ʺH
