Description: I am Japanese seller. Product Mozart by Oistrakh and the Berlin Philharmonic in his later years for the former EMI has finally been released on SACD! One of the ultimate Mozart performances is reproduced with better sound quality than ever before. Newly reissued from analog master tapes in the home country. New commentary included. World's first SACD! These complete Mozart Violin Concertos and other recordings with the Berlin Philharmonic from 1970 to 1972 are well-known as one of the most complete forms of Mozart performance by Oistrakh. The recordings made during his mature years in his later years record the ultimate form of modern instruments and modern playing techniques. The master tapes are in good condition, and this reissue has brought back the core of Oistrakh's characteristic tone to a lustrous state. The masters were digitized at 192kHz/24bit from the original analog master tapes in the home country, and the SACD and CD layers were mastered separately. New commentary included. A permanent preservation edition. This three-disc set compiles Mozart's "Works for Violin and Orchestra" recorded by the great Ukrainian violinist David Oistrakh (1908-1974) with the prestigious Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra as a soloist and conductor between November 1970 and March 1972. During this period, Oistrakh focused on Mozart and also recorded a collection of violin sonatas (now available on SACD as "Mozart: Selected Violin Sonatas" (TWSA-1037)). His duo partner was the musicologist Paul Badura-Skoda (1927-2019). Oistrakh, who was fluent in German, read Badura-Skoda's books on Mozart and had a high regard for his interpretation of Mozart. He recalls that he chose Badura-Skoda as a "real" partner with whom he could play while having a dialogue with him. The Berlin Philharmonic was chosen as the "real" partner for conducting Mozart's concertos, likely because the orchestra is the best in the world and Oistrakh was on friendly terms with Karajan, the orchestra's music director. ・Number of pieces | 3・Track list | [Tracklist]Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart:
