They also enhance the aesthetic look! They have been designed to slide in the T-slot with a nice snug fit and fully fill the cross slide from end to end. A very light tap is required to set them home and they will not hurt your cross slide or work themselves loose. The ABS plastic is slightly flexible and impervious to oils, tapping fluids, etc. Note, these T-slot fillers are sold EACH: For the ML7 cross slide, order QTY:4 For the Super 7 extended cross slide, order QTY:5 For the Vertical milling attachment, order QTY:3 (No part of the Lathe is included in this item - Plastic inserts only!) These fillers should fit any lathe with a 3/8 basic slot and 5/8 lower slot. Custom inserts can be made for other machines with a one-time $40 setup/modeling cost.
