Traveling with the Endurance is easier due to the lighter weight. You still get the light weight of the total scooter at 93.5 lbs. without batteries. The lithium ion batteries only add 8 lbs. when using the 8AH batteries while the 16AH batteries only add 12 lbs. Adding similar battery packs with lead acid or sealed gel could add 20 lbs. for an 8AH and 28 lbs. for a 16AH. The lithium ion batteries increase your charge range. Even the smaller 8AH batteries deliver up to 7.2 miles while the 16AH batteries will go up to 14.4 miles.
