Description: Up for sale is a brand-new Surly Steamroller frameset in Banana Candy Yellow, size 53cm (uncut fork). Surly sadly discontinued the Steamroller this year, and I haven't seen new framesets available anywhere in the last few months. This might be your last chance to get your hands on this classic! The Steamroller is set up for fixed gear or single-speed use with adjustable rear dropouts, and can take up to 38mm tires. Perfect for tracklocross or commuting, or set it up with skinny tires for road biking. Comfortable geometry with a short wheelbase for quick handling, and internally ED-coated to resist corrosion. I purchased this frameset new from Retrogression, but I realized after the fact that I want a frameset with even more tire clearance, so I hope this Steamroller can find a good home. I gently de-badged the frameset leaving only the Steamroller artwork, but if you want to re-badge the frame you can find decal packs on the Surly website.
