I RECENTLY HAVE BEEN GETTING MESSAGES STATING THE HAVE BEEN SENT THE WRONG CAPACITORS ONLY BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT AWARE OF THE VOLTAGE RATING ON THE REPLACEMENTS BEING HIGHER. MORE OFTEN THAN NOT REPLACENTS BEING USED ON CIRCUIT BOARDS WILL HAVE A HIGHER VOLTAGE RATING THAN THE ORIGINALS ON VINTAGE ELECTRONICS. IT IS COMMON PRACTICE FOR ENGINEERS TO USE HIGHER VOLTAGE RATED CAPACITORS TO REPLACE OLD CAPACITORS AND IS EVER SAFER THAT TO PUT THE EXACT RATING OF THE ORIGINAL CAPACITOR.
