Description: NOS VINTAGE BULOVA ACCUTRON 2191 WATCH RARE UNIV of KENTUCKY WILDCATS DIAL w/ TAGS, ORIGINAL BOX and BOOKLET~KEEPS TIME. Item Is Pre-Owned; Item Is Sold "AS IS"; Shipped USPS Ground Advantage. Presented for auction is this Bulova Accutron model 2191 featuring a very unique, what I believe to be, University of Kentucky Wildcats Dial. The timepiece appears to be NOS and still retains two of the original hang tags, the rear battery sticker as well as the original owners guide/warranty booklet and presentation case. Although the semicircular watch stand has been lost over time, a circular foam replacement has taken its place. The case is stamped with the production date of 1976 with the dial featuring a 1977 presentation. As stated, the timepiece is NOS, surface marks are virtually nonexistent. While the crystal has minimal surface marks, the dial is flawless featuring the initials "U.K.I.T.", the date of 1977 and what I assume is a wildcat resting on a basketball. A new battery has been installed and the timepiece sets and runs, presently keeping very good time. Nonetheless, this watch has freshly been acquired out of a watchmaker's estate and I doubt if has been serviced since produced. Therefore, I would suggest a cleaning and adjustment to ensure that it is a dependable timekeeper. This timepiece is a stylish addition to any collection and is perfect for everyday wear. The watch is fitted with the original brown leather band with Bulova signed buckle, the total length of which is 8.75 inches. Please review all the pictures as they represent far more accurately the items condition than any verbal description that I can provide.
