The DMC-mp3 was one of the early computer-based mp3 controllers. It employs a serial interface (cable included). For those familiar with this unit, that specification should be known to them. The face of this unit is chrome and is in pristine condition. (For those who know, the face does show finger prints and is best cleaned with Windex or similar mirror cleaning solution!) Several years ago I used this unit and it was racked - rack screw holes show some wear. The undersurface of one of the rack wings shows some discoloration. Box is 22.5"x7"x7" and weight about 5#. PCDJ Digital Audio Controller-2 (DAC-2): This unit is new, never used, but the box has been opened. The unit includes the power supply, CD, USB Cable, and a reprint of the manual. This model is the newer version using a USB connection, but still requires a computer, software such as PCDJ and all the mp3 files you can store on your HD. The face of this unit is black. The unit was never unwrapped until the photo used in this listing was taken. Box is 22.5"x7"x7" and weight about 6#.
