Description: I believe this handsome dark bronze head to be from Tibet, or Nepal...and no more recent than early 20th C. It stands 13" high to the highest remaining hair element above, approx 10" W at the back, and approx 6 1/2" D. The weight is approx 10 pounds, no scratches or cracks or damage to the bronze. It is missing a hair element on the top, and the facing right side rear is missing the taller decorative hair element as well. Another hair piece is loose but fits into a fitting at the top. Some of the red coral beads in the hair pieces are missing, 2 of the spots where missing are painted with red dots. It is a very handsome face, nicely cast and with its natural patina, quite imposing and looking important despite the missing hair pieces...some intrigue by being imperfect.
