High visibility red or yellow masks are useful when the diver/spearfisher wants to be visible on the surface to other boats or a buddy. I tend to use black masks, but when I go spearfishing on weekends in the summer, I wear a yellow or white snorkel and a red or yellow mask. It really helps making the diver being visible to boats, as an additional safety measure to the dive flag and float which can be 15,/ 50 ft away. Or when in blue water, with coppy seas, it will make the diver more visible to the buddies on the boat or in the ocean. This is a brand new, unused mask with sticker, original cardboard box.
