We will freshly pick the leaves after your order is received, then ship within a day. We don't pick them until we have the orders. The leaves are about between 2" and 3.5" long. Please see our other listings for shorter Bay Leaves (1.5" - 2.5" long) if you are looking for smaller ones but more leaves. The leaves can be used fresh or dried. Freshly dried leaves have a warm aroma which is infused into cooking. Leaves should be removed from food before serving.
