Description: Original Platinum Bubble Head Barbie. She's wearing the dress my mother made for her from the scraps of a dress created for one of the Kennedy women in the early 1960's. My mom designed dresses for some of the Kennedy women, this Fou Wah brocade was imported for them from Hong Kong, and my mother used the leftover scraps to make Barbie dresses. The coat is home made,as well as the bridal dress. some of the other clothes were purchased from the 5 & Dime in our neighborhood.
