Original Vintage Fender Grill Cloth Silver Sparkle Blackface Showman Amp Head

Description: Original Fender Grill cloth take off from a 1966 Blackface Showman amp head, Silver Sparkle used 1964-1967. Was originally on a Showman amp head, but has been off of a baffle board for 30 years and has probably shrunken somewhat. This would also fit a Bandmaster head from the same period as both of these amps share that same dimensions. I make no guarantees regarding fit. Current dimensions are listed below. You can see from the photos that the grill has natural discoloration from nicotine, age and use, so it has "The Look" making it perfect for your Vintage Restoration. Any odor that it has is mostly just old smell and not a strong nicotine smell. You can see the Shadow from where the logo was mounted and the required (3) screw holes for mounting. In one of the photos I put a scale next to the grill so that you can see the dimensions of the patterning, there's generally wider and narrower patterning to the small boxes during these years. This pattern as you can see is the 5/16" wide or the smaller pattern. Examine the photos carefully as they are the best indication of the overall condition. There are a few minor imperfections in the grill, mostly just snags here and there that I can see. After the initial listing, I re did the pictures inside in an attempt to show the colors accurately as outdoor light was just too difficult to control. The last photo is showing the reverse side of the grill. I decided to include a main photo showing the actual front of a 1965 Fender amp with original Grill (Not included in the listing) for reference so that you can see that this panel being sold is the real deal. In addition below it is a piece of New Old Stock Factory Grille for reference (Also not included in the listing) from that same period, unused and never mounted just to show the age discoloration on the original takeoff piece being sold. Current, post shrinkage inside measurements to creased edge of the baffle board is: 22.00"W x 4.375"T Overall measurement is: 23.25"W x 6.00"T with the overlaps included. If you need it you need it!
