Description: You are bidding on a pair of Western Electric Type D 162242 A oil condensers. They are rated at .4 MFD, 600VDC, and are the same as type 230A condensers. They are in very nice condition, and are good. They test at .391 and .379 MFD with my meter. The date code is II-44. These were used in the 86 and 91A amplifiers, amoung others. In size, they measure roughly 1 1/2 by 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches in size, not counting the terminals or mounting bolts. They should be great for your Western Electric audio project.
