I tested it on a pair of Infinity RS-525 tower speakers that are 6-Ohm and a little power hungry and the SX-550 drove them easily. Playing a CD player in the aux input at about 10% on the volume knob was rattling the windows in my 24'x24' workshop so this amp has lots of head room for heavy bass.
