Description: This is for a great PRIMITIVE Wooden Octagon Milking or Foot stool. Stool features very nice residual red paint over black base. Stool also features hand carved tapered legs and spindles. Seat is octagonal measuring 1 1/2” thick and 11” flat to flat and 12” point to point in diameter. Legs are 1 1/4” square at base and taper down to 3/4” carved round where entering seat. Spindles are 3/4” square in center and taper down to carved round 1/2” round where they enter legs. All dimensions are approximate as each measurement is slightly different due to brightness by carved. Stool is approximately 10 1/4” tall. Stool is very sturdy, no loose joints and weighs almost 5 pounds. The red residual paint over black base has a great patina that can’t be duplicated except by time.
