Description: Attention vein collectors! This specimen has a thick pyrite vein in pink rhodonite and calcite. Good pyrite specimens from the Franklin/Sterling mining district are extremely rare. There was no UV response. Measures 3-1/2" x 2-1/2" x 1-1/2". Weight is 9 oz. or 250 grams. Ex- Ray Latawieck Collection. Collected at the Sterling Hill Mine in Ogdensburg, NJ. I always combine shipping whenever possible. I ship by 2-day or 3-day USPS Priority Mail. UV photos taken with a 70-watt Engenious Designs Nightstick. A flashlight will not give the same response. I carefully pad and pack each item securely in a cardboard mailing box. I do not offer a gift box or gift wrapping. I include a label and/or any old labels with each mineral specimen.
