Description: Raphael Series 8404 Red Kolinsky Sable Watercolour Brushes Professional quality artist brushes made in France the highest specifications. The Raphael brush workshop was founded in Paris in 1793. The company prospered despite the uncertainties of the revolution, the empire and the restauration. In 1925, the company was relocated to Saint -Brieuc where it remains today. The Sauer family have passed down the legacy of fine art brush making from generation to generation and in 1987 Eric Sauer took responsibility the world famous Raphael brand. Innovation, research and development are combined with tradition to produce unarguably some of the world’s finest brushes. The 8404 series (orange tip) is made from the finest red-sable (kolinsky) for maximum water holding, strength and softness. Kolinsky is prized by watercolourists for it's professional quality. Each brush is tapered to a fine point for general use and fine detail work. Available in a range of sizes from the extra fine 5/0 to a #14 for large area washes. DELIVERY & RETURNS UK DELIVERY We use Whistl, Royal Mail or Parcelforce, unless stated or selected otherwise. Please note, where the tracking is from Whistl the final delivery will still be made by Royal Mail. Whistl process parcels by size and location and delivery to the recipients nearest Royal Mail depot for final delivery. For delivery to Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands & Islands and Channel Islands, you will be charged the same as any other UK resident for most orders. For larger parcels (weighing over 2kg or measuring over 60cm in length) we will need to send by courier and may have to either ask for additional postage or cancel the order. INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY Standard delivery is Royal Mail International (untracked) unless stated otherwise. Oversized items or items weighing over 2kg will be sent by courier. In some cases, we may not be able to send, depending on location and weight of parcel - in these circumstances we will let you know as soon as possible. RETURNS We accept returns up until 30 days after purchase providing the item(s) are unused, undamaged and in their original state. Buyer pays return postage.
