RARE 1999 ZWERGNASE "LALE", MIB w/CofA, #24/250 * 25.5 inches

Description: This auction is for Zwergnase’s 1999 doll Lale, created by Nicole Marschollek-Menzner. She is #24 of only 250 worldwide and doesn't show up for sale very often. Lale is 25.5 inches (65 cm) tall. She has a vinyl head and breastplate. Her arms and legs are ¾ vinyl and the rest of her body is cloth. Lale has straight light red hair and mouth-blown blue-gray eyes. As you can maybe see in the photos, from some angles the rooting in her hair is visible; this might be solvable by careful styling, I don't know (I didn't try). Lale has her gold hang tag (the Zwergnase equivalent of a CofA) and she will come to her new home in her original blue Zwergnase box (box only in okay shape). She is also signed and numbered by the artist on her midsection. Lale's original retail price in 1999 was $880. I call her "rare" because my research didn't turn up a single one sold on eBay in the last TWO years! (There is one currently listed at a much higher price.) Lale has never been played with, restyled or redressed – briefly displayed but mostly stored in my smoke-free home. I don’t see any shiny spots or rubs on her vinyl but bear in mind, at 24 years old, she’s not minty brand new and it's possible you'll notice something I don't (Ask if you think you do and I'll try to double-check.) She could have another boo-boo somewhere that I’ve never noticed (and I'm pricing her accordingly). I don’t go over my dolls with a fine-tooth comb. That said, I think her coloring is excellent. Love the oh so light freckles and serious - almost demanding - expression, so like a real child! She will travel to her new home in her original labeled box with her gold CofA. I don’t have her original shipper, instead will ship in new box that fits her blue box perfectly. These are photos of the exact LALE that you will receive. Please ask questions if you have them as all sales are final but check my feedback and bid with confidence. I charge a $5 handling fee which I will apply to fully insure Lale on her trip to her new home. If full insurance costs more than that, it's on me. I understand if shipping via USPS looks prohibitively expensive (which is due to the size of the box). Do yourself a favor and check out the UPS and FedEx options I also offer. Frequently (but not always) they're less when it comes to larger items. Please don't tell me that my shipping is too high because, unfortunately, I have never once been consulted when a carrier sets their rates.
