Description: Antique Chinese Asian Sterling Silver Hinged Onyx Filigree Belt. Very Rare and Unique. Stunning Heavy Antique Chinese Sterling Silver Belt with Black and Green Onyx Stones. It features hinged panels with thick exceptational filigree workmanship. Three panels are set with genuine Onyx cabochons. Each of the cabs has a rope twist border around its base. There are a total of four pinsso that the belt can come apart in four places. One of the pins is set with a red stone. The quality is substantial and sturdy making it a bold statement piece. Measurements Weighs about 217 grams. As a belt the length is approx 27 inches. If more length is needed a hinge clasp can be opened to add a chain to extend the length. Each stone measures approx 1 inch. Each hinge panel measures approx 2 3/4 inches wide and 1 1/4 inch tall. No marks. Tested 217 grams of solid pure sterling Silver. (Testing result is shown in picture of high grade Sterling.) All pins fasten securely. There is soft patina from age and can be polished to a brilliant shine if desired.
