Description: I contacted an antique appraiser for help pricing this Coffee Pot; his description is as follows: Ginori started Doccia production in 1735...it was called Doccia from his residence in Doccia, a little village in the outskirts of Florence. It continued until the late 19th century when they acquired another porcelain/ceramic producer called Richard from Milan and they become Richard Ginori, one of the best Italian porcelain/ceramic producer. Active still today, in 2013 the company has been purchased by the Gucci family. So, this lovely coffee pot is before 1896, when it became Richard Ginori. I think it is mid -1800s. In good condition, minor flaws, that in an item that is almost 200 years old are really not relevant. The iridescence is due to the fact that they mixed mother-of-pearl in the realization of some of their products. The piece is absolutely lovely, I hope you can find someone who fully "understands" its beauty and value. Measures: 7 inches tall and has a diameter at the base of 3.25 inches.
