Description: Pink Plume Celery This very rare heirloom celery was introduced in 1894 by a New York seed company. Small, compact plants with an abundance of stalks and leaves. Dark purple blush of color on inner stalks and leaf tips Thin, solid stalks are sweet with an intense fennel-like flavor. Performs well on warmer areas as a winter vegetable. Biennial, 80-90 days. Grow Tips: Celery seeds are slow to germinate, which could take two to three weeks. Presoak the seeds overnight will speed up the process. The seed is best surface sown. If your temperature is too warm for celery, try presoak the seeds for a few hours, wrap them in moist napkin and place it in the fridge for up to 24 hours. This will trick the seeds into thinking that cool season is coming. THANKS FOR VISITING! HAPPY GARDENING! • Ship within the US only.• We ship via USPS First Class Letter.
