Description: This offering is for ONE super extraordinary icon that any of you who know me know I never sell my prized bird designs...NESTING COCKATOOS is this elusive 1930's great...here all these 80- something years later to stun and shock you with its existence. A fabulous textured nubby barkcloth...a deep dark teal green ground...unfaded...deep dark merlot wine...jadeite green...lemon yellows...tangerine...varied creamy and charcoal grays...with a pop of cobalt coastal blue in the beak. While smallish...don't underestimate her...she is a DIVA and has all the makings of something so rare it is likely the only one left on earth. These tropical bird designs can run upwards of thousands of dollars for a pillow of this stuff...so it is s special day for a discount. Measures just about 15 inches wide x 17 inches long.
